Zyxware was invited to participate in the recently conducted ICFOSS Interaction with Small and Medium Enterprises on SME IT Requirements and FOSS. The meeting was organized at Kochi for SMEs in Central Kerala. At the interaction we presented our ideas about how a Small business can take the first steps towards enabling their businesses with IT.

IT Enabling SMEs with FOSS - an introductory presentation

The interaction was organized with the twin objectives of

  • ascertaining the IT/ICT requirements of Small and Medium enterprises, and
  • informing them of the potential of IT enabling their business operations and the use and advantages of FOSS products for this

The interaction was organized as a continuation of ICFOSS' initiative to promote FOSS as a choice in the business community in Kerala. We had earlier presented our views on commercial perspectives of Free Software at an earlier consultation meeting by ICFOSS.
