It was an idea six months ago. That idea was conceptualised and later, was named Freedom Walk - A walk to claim,ensure and preserve freedom. Started off from Kasargode on oct 2, our team of volunteers criss-crossed through the length and breadth of Kerala touching all the 14 districts, and spreading the message of freedom among the people.

HP-Compaq announced the prices of their Pavilion range of notebooks for the month of October. Prices have been increased recently due to inflation in the country. Compaq Presario V6406TU is an Intel based laptop from the house of HP- Compaq. This machine is fitted with an Intel Celeron Processor (1.60 GHz), 512MB RAM, 80GB Hard Disk, Dual layer DVD RW, 15.4" Widescreen and so on. This machine comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Basic OS. While working with Vista on 512MB RAM, you may feel that the systems is responding very slow compared to XP. In case you think of installing Windows XP, it would be difficult to obtain drivers for XP, online. Here are the list of drivers.

Compaq Presario CQ40-108TU was launched by HP-Compaq some times in October, 2008. We have received many enquiries regarding installation Windows XP in this machine. Installing Windows XP was not possible at all. There are quite a lot of people who are facing problems with installing Windows XP in this laptop. Here is a solution provided by the manufacturer to rectify this issue. There is no guarantee that this will work perfectly. We have not tried these steps yet. Compaq Presario V3702AU is an AMD based machine with an AMD Turion processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM, 160GB Hard Disk, DVD Writer, 14.1" WideScreen Display, built-in webcam and more. This machine comes pre-installed with Windows Vista operating system. In case you want to install Windows XP, you may do so, provided you get all the drivers ready with you. Compaq Presario C785TU laptop is an Intel based laptop with a Core 2 Duo processor, 1 GB RAM, 160 GB Hard Disk, DVD Burner, 15.4" display, Wireless and so on. The factory installed operating System is FreeDOS. You will have to install an operating system inorder to work in this machine. This machine is designed for Windows Vista. Drivers for Vista are given in the company's website. Installing Windows XP is not recommended as there is no guarantee that the drivers would work well with XP.
