Lenovo has announced the price list of its laptops in family series Y500 and N100. The company has started focusing on low-end models. These models now come with dolby sound system and a couple of them come with DVD burners. The list of laptops along with prices are given below.

Intel has been announcing massive price slashes for its processors and motherboards since January 2007. In spite of this AMD based systems still maintain a comfortable lead over the Intel based systems. The price difference used to be around Rs. 3,000 around a year back but it has fallen drastically during the last one year. An AMD Sempron based system can be bought for around Rs. 13,500 while an Athlon X2 costs around Rs. 14,600. The Intel counterparts Dual Core and Core 2 Duo based systems costs around Rs. 15,500 and Rs. 18,500 respectively.
When we burn CD/DVD, we name them either using adhesive stickers or markers. Now we do not require any of these. The new technology is called LightScribe. LightScribe Direct-Disk-Labeling is a new optical media recording technology using which we can burn labels directly onto specially coated recordable optical media (CD and DVD) and create our own custom labels.
After giving the Offer Letter, an Appointment Letter is the next step of interaction between a company and an employee. An offer letter is the first document using which a company contacts the employee who is selected for appointment. It contains the designation offered, general terms, salary figures, payment details, working hours etc. The employee can either accept or reject the offer. If he agrees to the conditions given in the Offer Letter, he will inform a convenient joining date. Then the company issues the Appointment Letter as a confirmation of his job.

A Letter of Appointment is the confirmation about a job in a given company. After recruitment, the person is appointed on probation for a specific period (eg: 6 months), as per company policy.
