The UNESCAP Voluntary Local Review (VLR) platform was developed to help local governments track progress toward the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals through an accessible, engaging, and user-friendly website. The project focused on delivering a clean, interactive UI with minimal custom JavaScript to manage costs while promoting intuitive navigation and content discovery.
Using Drupal’s built-in features, including the Books module, the platform enabled easy content management and incorporated gamified elements like progress tracking and badges to boost user engagement. The responsive design ensured accessibility across devices. The result was a significant increase in user interaction, longer session durations, and positive feedback from researchers and policymakers.
To enhance their digital campaign effectiveness, Manappuram Finance Limited required a responsive, high-converting landing page. The project utilized Drupal Bootstrap Layout Builder to create a standardized, no-code system for faster page development and easy content management. The solution addressed key challenges such as UI/UX, mobile responsiveness, performance, SEO, and integration with backend systems.
By collaborating with design and marketing teams, the team built a visually engaging and accessible layout with reusable components, optimized performance (via lazy loading, caching, and asset minification), and ensured compliance with WCAG 2.1 and GDPR standards. The standardized grid system benefited marketers, developers, and diverse user groups, allowing flexibility, quick design adjustments, and consistent branding.
The result was a fully responsive, SEO-friendly, and secure landing page that improved campaign turnaround times, mobile experience, and user engagement, while reducing development dependency—empowering Manappuram to execute marketing campaigns more efficiently and independently.
