Everything we saw at ‘DrupalSouth 2018’ – Drupal’s Longest Standing Conference

We were fortunate to be part of ‘DrupalSouth 2018’ – the longest standing Drupal conference in the Asia-pacific region.   The two-day event was held at Hotel Realm in Canberra on its tenth anniversary. This year’s event was of special significance since the past attendees of DrupalGov and DrupalSouth came together for this event – increasing the attendee list, to over 500 participants.

Drupal experts gave away technical sessions with ease and revealed a few of the latest APIs and tools that could be integrated, expanding the possibilities with Drupal. The expert sessions involved dedicated tracks on back-end development, front-end development, UX, content management, DevOps, security, and project management, all of which were of much interest to us.

The 'Birds of a feather session, where Drupal enthusiasts, a question without a pre-planned agenda brought forth some interesting conversations.

We were able to meet up with a few of our long-standing well-wishers, and many key influencers – all excited at the evolution and future of Drupal.
