[OpenOffice Calc] How to to apply a formula in entire column without dragging in OpenOffice Calc

Suppose you are working in OpenOffice Calc and you are writing some functions. And you want to apply this function to large number of column cells. You can do it by dragging the formula upto the last cell. But dragging is some times a very boring or tedious job. So let us check two simple ways to accomplish this task.

Case 1:

  1. Write the formula in the first cell.
  2. Click Enter.
  3. This will insert the result in the first cell.
  4. Move the cursor in the right bottom end of the cell.
  5. Double click.
    This will insert values.

Case 2:

  1. Write the formula in the first cell.
  2. Click Enter.
  3. Click CTRL+SHIFT+END. This will select the last right cell used on the worksheet.
  4. Go to Edit --> Fill-->Down or CTRL+D. This will fill the value in the remaining cells.
