A number of Drupal users were facing a scenario in their Drupal site where the Drupal Pathauto automatic alias checkbox is visible to anonymous users. If you are a Drupal user facing the same scenario with Drupal Pathauto in your Drupal site then read on to find out the solution.
Most Drupal users facing this problem reported that they were using the Drupal Jammer module. The Jammer module has a known bug which causes the Automatic alias checkbox of the Pathauto module to be shown to the anonymous users of a Drupal site in which it is installed.
The solution proposed by one Drupal user to fix the issue is as follows.
- Go to the settings page of the Jammer module
- Go to Remove the path options on content types
- Unselect the node type being affected there
- Save the settings.
Hope that helps.
