Get Ubuntu Installed on your Laptop for Free
As part of our ongoing process to promote Ubuntu and GNU/Linux in general we are happy to announce the launch of our latest offering - Free Ubuntu (or any other flavor of GNU/Linux) installation on your laptop. Yes - that is right. It is going to cost you nothing - nada, nil, nilch. All you have to do is to bring your laptop to our office and leave it with us and have Ubuntu installed on it.
If your laptop is fully supported in Ubuntu then we will be able to configure all devices. Most laptops these days are fully supported in Ubuntu and more often than not, those that are not fully supported will have some work around options available. We will also try to install any additional applications as per your requirements.
You also have an option to install any other GNU/Linux distribution other than Ubuntu and we will gladly be able to do that for you. It must however be noted that our service engineers have expertise primarily in Ubuntu and if there are any custom configuration required in the particular distro, it might take slightly longer for us to configure your system.
If everything goes well and we do not have any pending installation requests you should be able to get Ubuntu installed on your laptops while you are waiting. This would also give you an option to learn the simple installation procedure. However, if any custom installation or configuration of your hardware is necessary, you might have to leave the laptop overnight with us to complete the process. You might also have to do the same if there are pending requests.
By doing this you will also be playing your role in helping the Ubuntu community by testing Ubuntu on your laptop also. We hope to be able to build a reasonably good list of laptops that are fully supported by Ubuntu through this venture.
