Wipro Technologies had announced prices of its different models of laptops for the month of October. As usual, they have kept their prices lower than other brands. All these models come without Windows or any other OS, other than FreeDOS. Here is the list of models and their prices.

This machine comes pre-installed with Windows Vista Basic OS. While working with Vista on 512MB RAM, you may feel that the systems is responding very slow compared to XP. Compaq Presario CQ40-108TU was launched by HP-Compaq some times in October, 2008. We have received many enquiries regarding installation Windows XP in this machine. Installing Windows XP was not possible at all. There are quite a lot of people who are facing problems with installing Windows XP in this laptop.
