| | 1 min read

You have created a Drupal View as a page and the View is working correctly as intended in the preview section in the View settings page. However when you visit the actual page it throws up a 'Page cannot be displayed' error after you had clicked on the View button on the Views settings page. So what is causing the problem and what could be the fix? Read on to see the solution.

If the View is working correctly as intended in the preview section of the View then this problem is often related to the path of the View page. Follow the steps below to solve the issue.

  • First check if you had created a path for the View. If you had done so then.
  • Check if the path you gave to the View is already existing on the website as there could be a conflict with the paths.
  • Finally the most probable solution could be that there is a conflict with URL aliases with Views path setting preventing Views from creating the page.
Delete the URL aliases to allow the path settings to work.

Hope that helps.
