Compaq Presario V3754TU laptop driver for Windows XP

Compaq Presario V3754TU is another model laptop from HP-Compaq. It is an Intel based machine with configuration as given here - - Intel Core 2 Duo T5250 1.67Ghz, 160GB Harddisk Drive, 1GB DDR2 Ram, 14.1” Widescreen, DVD+/-RW Double Layer Drive, Built in Card Reader and Webcam, 802.11b/g WLAN & Bluetooth and it comes with FreeDOS. If you are planning to install Windows XP, you need require drivers for configuring different hardware. Drivers for Windows Vista are available at the company's website. Here are links for drivers for this laptops for Windows XP.
These laptops are designed to work with Vista. The driver given below are for XP, but they are not tested properly. Nether Zyxware nor HP-Compaq can give you any guarantee that these drivers will work perfectly with Windows XP.

1.You can either click the link or copy and paste it in a web browser.
2.Save the link on the desktop it will download the SETUP folder.
3.Double click the folder and it will install the drivers.
4.Restart the system after installing for the changes to take place.

If they dont have XP driver support they should very clearly write on LAPTOP that this will not work with XP. No one has time to search for drivers. Very Simple. .....

Presario V3000 Lan Driver

greetings and salutations.. i was hoping u can help me..

Hello

Regarding to some problem occurs in some V3000 series compaq laptop (I'm using V3751AU), such as mic can't be use and both speaker and headphone give the sounds. I noticed that the problem most probably due to XP Windows itself, which there are no exact drivers suit the XP. So, can the problem be settle if I use Vista on my laptop?

This is Ravi from Delhi. i have problem related to sound drivers in Compaq model no 3335 series for installing.
and second problem is that , i was purchage my laptop in july 2007 in Indore (MP), and i was send RS.300.00 DD in faviour to OKHALA.
but now a day i am not receving my gifted item as webcam, International calling cards etc...
i was calling much times in okhala HP redumption cell office . but they are not giving any satisfy solution.

G7000 Drivers

If you are an owner of the G7030 Series HP Notebooks be aware that the Wireless controller card has no compatibility to XP at all. It will come, but they (HP+Bill) are trying to bluff us with new cards like Atheros. If you look at the card very closely you will find a logo very similar to Intel's. There is the bluff. Just go to the geek shop and buy another card with the real Intel logo on. It will costs like 10-15 bucks. Chipset 965 will work with 945 and otherwise. No drivers needed. Don't struggle with the Atheron. Throw it.

The problem is not with the mic or headphone. Also it is not with hardware. This happens due to driver-hardware incompatibility. The latest laptops are designed to work with Windows Vista and they have hardware of latest versions. But the drivers provided for XP are of older version. The option is to try alternate links. But there is no guarantee, ever from the manufacturer that these drivers for XP will work perfectly with XP.

Dear Eugene,

This is a generic issue faced a number of Compaq Presario laptop users who are working on Windows XP. This is because of a hardware-driver incompatibility issue, ie; all latest laptops contain latest version hardware but the drivers provided for XP are of previous versions. Moreover, all laptops available now are designed to work only with Windows Vista. One option you have is to try out alternate drivers. But there is no guarantee that you will find a driver that will work perfectly in the machine.
Another option we would like to suggest is to use GNU/Linux. All latest flavors of Linux are simple and easy to configure and use and tons of help are available from various online communities. Some names include Ubuntu, OpenSuse, Mandriva, Mint Linux, Fedora and these are available for free download from the internet. If you are interested in trying out Linux, but find it difficult to download, we can provide you the same via post. You check out our CD/DVD Request for the list of applications available with us. Please note that if you would like to get Linux from Zyxware, we will ship it to your address. The software is free, but we will charge for blank CD/DVD and shipping.

Please provide the Serial Number and Product of your machine. These are located on the bottom side of the machine. We might have to provide these if the company asks us to do so. We will get the drivers for the same machine.

The links given here were provided by the company. However, they do not give any guarantee that these drivers will work perfectly with Windows XP. The drivers for XP are of previous version but the latest laptops come with updated version hardware that require updated drivers and all the latest drivers available are for Windows Vista. Kindly try alternate drivers of the same V3000 series laptops.
Before that, did you manually try installing these drivers?
