Compaq Presario C716TU Laptop Drivers for Windows XP

Modem driver error i installed the modem drivers of connexant audio from this site ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp35001-35500/sp35272.exe
& i followed the steps
Open the Device Manager:
1. Click on Start and select Run. Now type devmgmt.msc and press enter.
2. Click on Sound, video and game controllers and then Right click on "Audio device on High Definition Audio Bus" and click update driver.
3. Select "Install from a list or specific location"
4. Click Next. Then select "Don't search, I will choose the driver to install"
5. Click Next and then select "Sound, video and game controller" from the list.
6. Click Next and then click Have Disk.
7. Click Browse C:\swsetup\sp35272 folder and selected the .inf file and clicked open and got the error "The specified location does not contain information about your hardware".Please help.there is still yellow exclamation besides modem driver

when i try to download display driver for presario C716TU laptop,i get an error message as file download cannot be completed, because source file cannot be read

Hi i have compaq presario c716TU laptop and i want install XP.
I have installed all the drivers except audio drivers. I have done the same way as mentioned in this article.
But after completing the installation it says "Could not start audio device".

What may be the problem?

I have fallowing specification.
Intel Dual Core 1.4Ghz CPU, Intel Extreame Graphics Video card, Conaxant High Defination Audio,
1.5 GB RAM 160GB Hard Disc and DVD Writer.

Please help me in fixing the problem.

i cannot install the modem driver.i follow the same procedure for installing the audio driver...but cant found the .inf files

I downloaded the drivers from the links given by you but i still face a lot of problems while installing it.Pl help me.I get errors like sys does not meet the minimum requirement etc.Even the UAA driver package is corrupted.

but the wireless driver is not working on my laptop, after runing the exe that says
The content of this file can not unpacked, the executable you are attempting to run has been corrupted , please obtain another copy of the file, verify the integrity and try again.

and the modem driver is also not working.

please reply as early as possible.
