Compaq Presario V6307TU Laptop Drivers

HP does not give a driver CD with their entry level laptop models. However the end user can get online and chat with an HP representative through their online chat system to get ftp URLs (mostly) pointing to the right drivers. Here are the Windows XP drivers for Compaq Presario V6307TU model laptop.

Before installing the audio drivers please install the UAA drivers first. Then restart the computer and install the remaining drivers. Follow on-screen instructions if any.

Dear Sir,
I have a Compaq Presario V6307TU. I have installed the Ethernet Driver which is stated by still in my device manager it is showing an exclamation mark in front of it. I think thats the reason why i am not being able to connect via lan on my laptop also. Please tell me what is to be done.

Compaq is saving a penny by not providing a Drivers CD

I am thankful to this site for providing this valuable information. and at the same time i want to tell that this is really sad on the part of Compaq for not providing the Drivers CD along with the new laptops, so what if this are entry level laptops. a drivers CD may cost nothing when compared to the Laptop price, I don't know why a MNC like Compaq is assorting to this silly things to save for themselves. It is as if penny wise pound foolish. they can charge some amount extra for providing this drivers CD.
