Job Responsibilities

As an Engagement Manager, you will be leading our service delivery to clients with a team of marketing and communication specialists, engineers, project managers, business analysts and quality control professionals. With us, you will have the opportunity to work with clients that are leaders in their categories on their cutting edge digital transformation initiatives. You will have end to end responsibility in the engagement covering value delivery to clients, financial viability of engagements and people development. Your specific responsibilities will be as below.

  • Providing guidance to clients on growth through digital transformation initiatives. This includes analysing the potential for such growth and designing digital transformation journeys for our clients, building a consensus around the design amongst the client side stakeholders

  • Partnering with the client on execution through advice, managing client side stakeholder alignment at all levels, setting up governance mechanisms, overseeing build of digital platform build, operations and maintenance, vendor onboarding and management, progress reporting and overall assuring goals are met as per timelines.

  • Managing client relationships in line with the outlook and policies of Zyxware Technologies

  • Assessing potential for business growth in client accounts, maintaining commercial viability of engagements and reporting to management of Zyxware Technologies from time to time. 

  • Collaborating with the sales and marketing team on client acquisition

  • Coaching and mentoring your team members for professional development

  • Generating insights, frameworks, reusable components from the engagements with clients that add value to the sectors in which we operate.

Required Knowledge and Skills

  • Expertise in Marketing and Communication with special emphasis on market and user research methods, marketing mix and consumer behaviour
  • Exposure to digital marketing tools like Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Marketing Automation tools (Hubspot etc), social media monitoring tools etc
  • Quantitative analysis methods for decision making
  • Basic financial acumen covering understanding of financial statements, project finance, financial controls.
  • Awareness of Organisation Change Management
  • Project Management for timely and within budget delivery, developing quality control systems for high quality service delivery
  • Individual development covering goal setting, motivation, mentoring and progress assessment
  • Cross functional team building ability
  • Strategic thinking and negotiation for building alignment around digital transformation initiatives at the client organisation
  • Conducting effective meetings at all levels of enterprise level organisations

Education and Experience

  • MBA/PGDM in Marketing / Systems / Finance. Academic performance is an important criteria for selection into the role.
  • 8+ years of experience in IT Industry, of which at least 2 years are in project or programme management roles in mid sized organisations
  • Experience in managing or assisting in management of Agile Digital Transformation initiatives of mid sized and large enterprises with a focus on marketing and communication functions
  • Exposure to Free and Open Source Software stack and FOSS communities
  • Experience of managing cross functional teams
  • Project P and L experience
  • Exposure to a global clientele and internally accepted service quality standards like ISO.
