Mumbai once again played host to DrupalCamp Mumbai 2015 (DCM 2015), the premier networking event for the Drupal community in India. DrupalCamps have always been a significant part of the Drupal Community ecosystem.

DrupalCamps are the foremost regional events held across the globe, supported by the Drupal Association. Like DrupalCon, the Drupal community’s international flagship event organised annually by the Drupal Association in North America and Europe, DrupalCamps are designed for experts, enthusiasts, newbies, and open source supporters who are passionate about learning, sharing, and contributing to Drupal projects.

The major objective of the event is to inform, educate, and share the latest trends in the Drupal open source content management framework and web application platform with educators, students, IT heads, professionals, and businesses, and help strengthen the community at large.

Zyxware Technologies was invited to be part of a panel discussion on 'Open Source and Drupal in Government and Education.'The discussion was coordinated by P. Sunthar, Chemical Engineering Department, IIT Bombay. Mr. Thomas P. Thomas, CEO, Zyxware Technologies, represented the company at the event.

Mike Lamb, Director Marketing Technology Strategy at Pfizer and Drupal Association Board Member, kicked off the event with a keynote on “Drupal Future: The Future Won’t Wait. Making Technology serve People through Processes and how this relates to Drupal 8 and to you!.” The two-day event featured several sessions by some of the most well-known members and active contributors in the Drupal community in India and offered the perfect platform to understanding the rapidly growing Drupal landscape, learn more about the latest trends in Drupal and of course, network with other Drupalers in the country. In addition to expert sessions, the event also featured a host of special sessions, interactive workshops, training modules, and panels for the participants.
