Popular Wordpress theme jQ ported to Drupal

March 16, 2010 - 04:17
We have ported and contributed yet another drupal theme. This time it is jQ, ported from one of the most popular wordpress themes of the same name. You can see the Drupal jQ theme here.

The original wordpress theme was developed by devolux. jQ is a clean theme with a div based, fixed width, 2-column layout (content+right sidebar). Additionally it has some cool jQuery based features, most of which has been made available in the Drupal version also.

You can see the screeshots of the theme below. To download and use the theme please visit the Drupal project page for the jQ theme. We will also provide support for the theme at the Drupal issue queue for the theme.

Awesome theme port! Would much rather use this theme in Drupal rather than WordPress.

Couple of quick questions if I may:

1) how do I get the menu drop downs to work?
2) How do I remove the date tabs on non-blog pages?
3) How do I remove the A A+ A++ text sizing from pages?

Thanks-in-Advance,

John

I don't think the drop down is implemented in this theme. Can't you remove the date tabs from the template after writing a condition on the node type? The A A+ A++ should be in the page.tpl. Hope this helps.
